Sunnyfield Independent employees in Chatswood will be able to keep working, after the company lost its contract to supply Qantas headsets.

Workers at the company’s O’Brien St factory, which employs 111 people with intellectual disabilities, were potentially left without the work when the airliner awarded the contract for the work to the NSW Department of Corrective Services.

The department agreed to sub-contract the work to Sunnyfield, which means their employees will have the same amount of work as they did before losing the contract.
