Qantas has revealed that it intends to run a greater number of services between the coastal city and the towns of Karratha, Paraburdoo and Port Hedland.
The carrier will also expand its Perth-based fleet to 11 aircraft, offering a greater capacity from the city.

Ian Gay, Qantas regional general manager Western Australia, also stated that the company plans to plough AU$75 million (£41.66 million) into a project to redevelop its domestic terminal at the city’s airport.
He explained that new facilities will include a stand-alone security screening area with extra checking points, which will benefit passengers using the airport.
Last month, the airline began its A380 service between London and Melbourne and also launched a similar operation on its route from the British capital to Sydney.
